METU was founded in 1990 in istanbul and began in the same year with the production of ultrasonic cleaning equipments for jewellery. Spray cleaning machines has been developed in 1993 which opened a new door for metal working industry. 

Shortly thereafter followed the production of ultrasonic components. The ultrasonic modules which are mainly consisting a transducer and a high frequence generator have made a substantial contribution to the success of the company.  

The introduction of the quality management system and ISO certification the company paved the way for supplying to the automotive industry. 

Product range has been upgraded and expanded steadily with new machines and cleaning technics. The manufacturing of single and multi chamber cleaning machines in variety of sizes was followed by the application of high pressure deburring systems. After building immersion cleaning plants parts with complex geometries could be cleaned according to the finest cleaning requirements. 

In 2001 Metu commenced production of surface treatment plants. It was an strategical important decision in response to the increasing demands at various industries. Today all kinds of surface treatment plants are planned and implemented by our system specialists.  

The growing need of automation in production requires flexible and continous material flow between processing stations. Mastering automation technics is indispensable and essential for a plant manufacturer in order to guarantee the smooth flow, easy handling and interlinking of workstations.
